About Our Packages

Having a mobile bar service at your event is known in the industry as a luxury add-on.  Sure, you could have guests get their own drinks from a bucket of ice and there's nothing wrong with that, but mobile bars are there to take your event and your guests' drink experience to the next level.    

Everyone absolutely loves Charlie and they often come up to the bar to ask questions about him, or to snap a photo... or ten!  As part of all our packages, we will work with you to style Charlie in a way that compliments your day and the theme you have chosen.   Even though Charlie is a classy, functional, working bar, he provides so many great memorable opportunities for your special day.     

We will work with you to design the perfect drinks menu.  Tell us what flavours you like/dislike -  we have a great menu full of cocktail recipes or give us one of yours!  Either way, we will work with you to make it awesome!  

Alcohol is one of the biggest reasons budgets are often blown out when it comes to planning events.  Because you supply the alcohol, you are able to control the amount of money you spend on it.  Buying in bulk and when items are on sale will help to significantly reduce the cost of your alcohol and your overall budget.  We will help you with a shopping list and quantities when we have our planning meeting.

Lastly, attention to detail is an important aspect of our business.  Cocktails and mocktails are served in stylish glassware and served complete with ice and garnishes.  We love seeing guests smile as we hand over their pretty drinks. We also have beautiful wine and champagne glasses, and we are happy to serve a selection of different wine, champagne and beer.  

When you hire Charlie you are getting a tonne of inclusions, many you and your guests will see and experience, and many more happening behind the scenes to ensure the best possible drinks experience for your event.  Inclusions 

1. We will help you design and craft the perfect menu to suit your style and tastes, and assist you with working out your drink quantities, so you know exactly how much to purchase for your event and the amount of guests you have.
2. Charlie, our beautifully styled horse float bar, that in itself, is just a gorgeous addition to your wedding decor and overall experience.  He will be the talk of the town, and your guests favourite place to meet and hang out during your event!  Everyone loves to be photographed with Charlie.  We guarantee your guests will be talking about Charlie and your wedding for years to come.   
3. A great backdrop for wedding pics!  Speak to us beforehand and we would be happy for you, your partner and even your wedding party, to have some pics taken in and around Charlie.
4. Menu signs will be put out at your event and will be updated throughout the night so guests know what is available at all times.
5. Pre-prepared, homemade flavoured syrups for your chosen cocktails (where required).  We have made some beautiful simple syrups in the past for cocktails such as pineapple/sage, lemon balm, 5 mint, chilli, and bay leaf and peppercorn.  
6. Setup and pack down.  It takes a lot to get Charlie looking his absolute best and ready for service, especially if he is being styled to suit a theme.  We also take this time to stock your drinks into our onboard fridges, so that they are chilled and ready to go when you are, and they are constantly restocked throughout the night.  
7. During this time we also ensure that a selection of drinks from your menu are freshly poured and ready to go just before your event begins so no-one is waiting too long for their first drink during the initial rush.
8. If you are having water and soft drink available during the event we can organise to have these put into beautiful large metal ice tubs alongside the bar and we will keep these stocked for you and your guests throughout your event.
9. Staff are RSA qualified so that you can be sure they have the knowledge and skills to responsibly serve alcohol.  All our drinks are served with love, attention to detail, and of course a smile! 
10. Professional, friendly, and super fun staff!  We are always up for a chat, a dance, and a laugh.  We absolutely love all events, and our focus is to create a magical and memorable drinks experience for you and your guests.  
11. We also offer two fantastic seated cocktail bar areas as part of our setup.  Guests can pull up a stool and sit and socialise at the bar.  It is such a great place for people to get together, have a drink and share a yarn!
12. Glassware that is continually collected throughout the night, washed, and ready to be refilled again and again.   Our staff are champions when it comes to doing laps at events and collecting and washing the glassware.  We will also collect beer bottles or mixer bottles that are served from our bar.   
13. Ice is included in all our packages and the amount changes depending on which package you have chosen.  This is because packages that include cocktails will require more ice!  If more ice is required than the package allows we will discuss this with you when we sit down together to come up with your menu plan.
